Patricia

Patricia presents her multimedia work to royalty

The Queen and Prince Phillip visited the University today. Patricia Charlesworth was invited to meet him and show him the multimedia work that she has done on a Rix Centre short course. She took some pictures and has written her story of the day.

I also met Heber Ackland, who is the Queen's Equerry - this means he goes all round the world with the Queen, nice job!

Seeing the Queen

This is the view that I got of the Queen. Unfortunately I was not allowed to have my photo taken with her!

at the event

It was a fantastic day. I believe that multimedia is extremely important for people with learning disabilities who do not use spoken words.
